Congrats on your success & associations. And...Nift #2: you've worked with someone who has worked with Michael Urbaniak. :) HipHipHip

Steve was my very first boyfriend when I lived in England in my highschool years. I'm amazed and rather hurt that he hasn't told me he's coming back to the US for this venue. I do hope, though, to be there and give him a very happy reunion surprise! We've been in touch through the years, and he stayed at our home (with Paul and I and our son, Niall). It's been so many years, though. I look forward to seeing him again! And you and your husband, too!

Thanks to you tuning my crazy Zeta violan for me, I've practiced a little each day. I hold it like a cello. I still have not found the single perfect position to hold it, but right now I am zero-ing in on holding on my lap, close to my knees, with my legs bent slightly inwardly. I got the electric amplifier to work since I last saw you.
Arpeggios are still very tricky, because the direction of my bowing is backwards from that of a normal violinist. Consecutive notes, basic scales, I can play.
Like me, my brother is vegan and pro-animal rights. He plays piano and hopefully will visit from Maryland soon to get together for some classical music playing.

I just discovered your music via word of mouth and I must say, I've never been more affected by the sound of an instrument (well, a musical one, at least) as I have been by what you have birthed here in mother cyberspace's womb.
Such grace, such poise, and such an overall feeling I get...I can't describe it.
Facing such a conundrum, I looked to others, hoping for a way to express what I felt...
"Tumescence" suggested one.
Nay, nay I replied. For one of such alabaster charms, I felt this to fall well of the mark that I felt you deserved.
Another, more sensitive and perceptive friend said I was verging on the peripatetic.
Not knowing the precise meaning of the term, I consulted dear Mr. Webster..no, not that guy with the extensive garter and suspender collection round the corner (though I shamefacedly must confess to a brief dalliance with him on a dew spackled summer's morn, ah, how we danced...) but, rather that Webster scribe of olde, who compendium of words and their meanings has helped me to maintain a grip of myself (twice a day), lo these many loveless years.
Well, without further fol-de-rol, let me lay my cards on the table, bare my innermost thoughts, slap it on the table for all to see...all I can say (by way of paraphrasing Donovan) is that I believe that UFOSMOSIS is "sure to be the very next phase" as we seek to evolve from the rough beasts of our own private Sodoms and Gomoorahs, to that proud, erect Celt of Albion that you seem to be leading us, with pert highbeams so visible, to light our way, to some new type of reality.
Just one other thing to mention before inspiration leaves me shrunk and sated...
awesome knockers!

Dear Cyndee, wonderful music, I thought I could hear the sound of violins and Mother Gong calling me, my late partner played the violin, see Peter Gardners photos on Medieval Brigands. I never heard him play, my husband has just got his old violin out of the attic and bought new strings.
I had a few lessons, then got asked to leave, had no time and place to practise, the only piece I played perfectly, moved me so much tears streamed down my face, the teacher said, sorry can't have you in the class feeling like that, ho ho.
How do you keep that beautiful white celtic skin, living in america? I thought mine like that cause I grew up in industrial north east england, 'lard/shortning' land.

Cyndee,
Nice Job, I've checked out a few tunes, I'm impressed. Hall Of The Mountain Grill is real pretty. Inner light and is it, Listen To What I Have To Say, are really cool, too. I sort of jumped around. Who did the mixing, and how many tracks did you use. I played quite a few songs, and I really enjoyed all I heard. Finally, I made it through all the layers of information to the music, and I'm glad I did.
You must have had a real blast over in Europe. Sadly, I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Tim Blake. Harvey's a real sweetheart, and he and Nik are both a lot of fun to be around. What I've heard from Dave Adams is really cool too, I hope the Spacerock show returns, so I can learn about more cool bands and musicians.
Thank you for sharing so much music up front. I really like it, a lot, I'm glad I was able to find it.
Peace,
Mary
P.S. Can the music be downloaded?
Many thanks for the cool sound vibes,
Mary

I'm too involved with the "American Fiddle Method" book. Too much fun playing a real song. I picked up Angelina Baker over the weekend. Now I have to keep up with the tempo of the play-along CD.
You're doing a good job teaching me, however. You got me scratching out the numbers above the notes, too.

Cyndee,
I was curious about the song "Something I should have said" At about 5:25 into the song, masked or pseudo voices can be heard. It sound kinda like a fight between a couple and then at the end the door slams. Am I getting this right? This is a haunting song, I really like it, probably my favorite one available on your site. Also, how about some more pictures of you that aren't so hard to see you? Thanks, Jason

Happy New Years Eve!
Great to hear from you - and a lovely card it was too! Your CD should be leaving on a jet plane sometime next week!
Regards to all.
Just walked through this Stargate for the first even thou I have been reading your post on our fave Stargates.
Currently listening to Seven Cities of Gold, Assassin of Silence (Spot on-one of me fave), Telekinetigram, What on Earth, Into the Light, As go the moments, the last two has an Eastern sounding flare (sweet- along with a Steve Hillage gliss) cool. I spent four years in Turkey 78’-79’, 02’-05’ and England 74’-76’ then again 84’-93’.
Have you listened to any System 7 (I recommend Encantado, Seventh Wave, Live Transmission) or Mirror System?
Steve and Miquette Rainbow Dome Musik is another one (I bet you could have a good time with that one).
Looking forward to meeting you, your husband Jeff (I bet your going be like me and totally melt off into the Gliss Ensemble, many years I have been waiting for that one, eh?) and seeing you play at the Unconventional Gathering next month.
Have you listened to Mother Gong?
One more Trip…mmm…sounds like a winner. I would love to hear it since I met Chris back in 98.
Ello Spaceman C…If you’re reading this I hope you have been taking extra special care of my Golden Vintage Voltage Lp’s. I do want them back thou, hint, hint….I will be back in Colorado Springs 21-26 November. Please contact me...
I glad to see that you had a blast in Oxford (saw Hawkwind and Steve Hillage thar back in 76’) also seems you had fun with Dream Machine.. I will talk to Space Commando to get you on for Eastern Haze 2007. Wot ya think Si?
Until our Leylines Centre cross this November, Peace and Keep Zee Faith.

When do you come to the Northwest?
I found your music doing a search on google for spanish guitar and violin. I really like your music. I think you would do very well in creating music for video games or SciFi movies. I really enjoy the remixes of old music style fantasy based movies and games. You could do an awesome tribute to a game like Phantasy Star or remix of some of SciFi classics. Anyways, great music. Hope you get signed cause I'd like to hear more. www.ocremix.org
