UK tour 2006 - September 7, 2006

Hi Everyone!

The UK tour was spectacular!!!!!!!!!!! Assassins of Silence
totally ROCKED! Was it AOS or Hawkwind on stage?????? Hard to tell
the difference! Jeff and I would also like to thank Dave and Judy
for their kind hospitality during our stay in Oxford.

The next night was at the Phoenix in Exeter. Tim Blake and Jean-
Phillipe Rykiel were spectacular! JP played everything from drums
to guitar on his keys and Tim totally shredded on his Roland AX-7!
WOW!

Tim also invited me to join them on stage for "Selene"! What an
honor!! Sky Sownd Omniversity was also extremely spacey--the
perfect opener to this amazing gig!!

Thanks also to Frenchie for all of her hard work in organizing such
an incredible event!!! It was great to meet everyone--all the fans
and musicians!!

Next was the Brixton Jamm in London with top-notch spacerock band:
DREAM MACHINE! WOW!! What an honor to share the stage with
premiere ex-Ozrics artists!!!

Dream Machine's new percussion section is spectacular!!!! Metro
totally KICKS and Mindflux adds an exotic world fusion element.
Alex's guitar playing--SHRED!!!!!!!! Or, was that Steve Hillage???
WOW!! Jules and Joie added ssssspaceyyyyyy keys and Gabz' bass
playing was all over the place!! Incredible!! Jon's Arabic-
flavored flute playing was as enjoyable as always!

Thanks to Mari and Gabz for their warm welcome. Jeff and I felt
instantly at home with them and appreciate everything they have done
for us. We hope there will be more events in the UK in the future--
maybe even in the US, where we can return the favor.

Tim Blake Info - May 22, 2006

Hi Everyone,

For those of you who do not know who Tim Blake is.. he is a master
spacerock keyboard player who has recorded and performed with both
Gong and Hawkwind. They are among the top spacerock bands in the
world--I have had the honor of touring with 2 founding members of
the band Hawkwind myself.

Tim's site for some bio info: http://moonweed.free.fr/index.html
If all goes well for Tim at his next court date, I will also be
doing a gig with him in Devon, UK in September. (and a mini-tour in
the UK including the Spacerock Spectacular hosted by Assassins of
Silence, recording for Xoo and probably at least one other gig too!!)

Unfortunately, things did not go very well for Tim Blake at his
court date this week. He was almost killed by a very drunk driver
with no seatbelt and bald tires!! The drunk driver died in the
accident and they are trying to pin the responsibility onto Tim,
charging him with involuntary manslaughter!

It was 8 AM when the accident occurred, and there was a TRACE amount
of cannibis in Tim's blood, meaning that he definitely did NOT smoke
anything that morning. He was definitely NOT high at the time of
the accident.

Now, Tim is facing 6 months (at least) in prison and will not be
able to drive for at least 18 months. Depending on his lawyer's
advice, there is a possibility that he may try to appeal. He will
also have to pay the family of the drunk driver a huge amount of
money. So, Tim's fans are trying to help out in any way possible.

All current info that we have will be posted at:

www.melosprogbazaar.com
This will be the central location for all the evolving details..
Both Anita (at Melo's) and I have been in contact with Tim and
Frenchie and will post any new info we get there.

There is a PayPal account set up to help Tim and also there are lots
of amazing musicians who have donated CDs for sale. 100% of the sale
money will go towards Tim's legal fees.

I have contributed 5 copies of my CD UFOsmosis to help and will
ship to anywhere in the world. I have also purchased 4 CDs and am
excited to be getting some incredible music and at the same time, to
be helping Tim out.

If you wish to purchase UFOsmosis specifically for the Tim Blake
fund, please do NOT order it from my CD Baby, Soundclick, Big
Balloon Music or home page!!

Please order by following the instructions on the Bazaar site, so
that the money goes through the proper channels.

Tim Blake Appeal (updated) - April 25, 2006

Quoted from Melo's Prog Bazaar
www.melosprogbazaar.com
Tim Blake former member of the bands Hawkwind & Gong has serious legal hassles.
He was in an accident several years ago and the other person died. The other
driver was drunk, not wearing a seatbelt and was driving with bald tires. Tim
almost died in the accident as well.

The other driver who died in the car crash was driving blind drunk WELL OVER the
legal limit. He was Not tested for drugs; he was not wearing a seat belt; his
car was unroad worthy with bald tyres. The man had been drinking all night - the
car crash occured just after 8am, nearly two years ago. Tim had just left home
to drive into the town that morning.

A short distance from the crash site a woman had been narrowly missed by a red
Polo driving at high speed (NO ATTEMPT has been made by the Police to locate
this witness)

Seconds later a red Polo crashed into Tims car it happened on what we would
class as a B Road, and is made worse by a blind summit.

Tim died at the site. He was bought back to life by the Helicopter Ambulance...

The Police Report from the accident stated that they could not determine
responsibility. Amazingly the Policeman who wrote this report WAS NOT CALLED to
the court. The prosecuting lawyer rubbished this official report, during his
venomous speach, slaughtering Tim beyond belief and screaming Cannabis and 'the
English on their clouds'

The Fact that the dead driver was DRUNK was waved away by this lawyer as a fact
not worthy of consideration and described as Piffle !

It was not until Months after the accident, Tim still struggling to cope with
his injuries and mental trauma, that he was informed that an anaysis of his
blood had shown Cannabis THC levels.

The decision by the court will be on 18th May. Also the court have asked for 10
months prison with 8 suspended plus three years driving ban.

Tim appeared in court on Thursday charged with Involuntary Homicide and may have
to serve time in prison.

Another Dark undertone to this is; The insurance company have already payed out
to the dead drunks family, surely this mans insurance is null and void - driving drunk and with an
unroadworthy car if Tim is aquitted, then would they not have to pay back the
money .. The insurance company also had a lawyer there.

France operates under an inquisitorial system, as does most of Western Europe,
where the court is actively involved in determining the facts of the case, as
opposed to an adversarial system, as operated in the US or UK, where the role of
the court is solely that of an 'impartial' referee between parties.

In the adversarial system the parties on either side of a legal action take the
position of opponents or adversaries before the court which decides the winner
of this legal battle.

In an inquisitorial system the court itself more actively investigates whether
the law has been violated and seeks to apply the 'remedies' the law provides.

Unlike the inquisitorial system in which accused parties must exonerate
themselves before a judge or judges who function as both judge and prosecutor,
in the adversarial system the opposing sides argue or compete to convince a
supposedly impartial judge or jury of the merits of their legal assertions of
guilt, innocence, liability, obligation, and the like.

Therefore Tim's trial had 3 judges who decide how to apply the law in the case
against him, and not a jury, who would decide whether the case against him were
proven or not.

To help raise funds for Tim Blake the Bazaar has started a fund-raising effort.

These are the bands that have thus far decided to get involved in this
fund-raising effort. Please buy these albums. Message me to let me know you are
doing that so that we can send a lump sum to help Tim. All money should be sent
to this paypal account: acelestialalien@hotmail.com
We can't accept credit cards @paypal..

In case any of you do not wish to buy an album, but still wish to contribute,
you can do so through the same paypal account. Please mention that this is for
Tim Blake.
